Mida Party was founded in 2016 by Marco DiGoda, Antonio Salto, Stephen Kardus and Marina Kardus. The band hails from Bogor, Indonesia, which is well-known for being "the city of rain". Three of the band's members, Marco, Antonio and Stephen, have been playing music together since 2007 through various musical projects. Mida Party's music is heavily influenced by Japanese pop singers of the 80's such as Junko Yagami, Kaoru Akimoto and Mariya Takeuchi. Mida Party's lyrical themes mainly touch upon relationship issues in urban settings.
