<title>Ancient Music Machine / SpaceWine [foot216]</title>
<link>http://www.bumpfoot.net/foot216.html</link>
<description>
In 2013 an ancient relic was unearthed in the Middle East. The relic was a music-box from a century pre-dating modern humans. A relic of proto-human musical composition.
This album is a recording of the sounds on that ancient music machine. Music with an eerie resemblance to modern-day indietronica. The first midi controller.
Wordless chants to pagan gods. Musical utterances of secret pagan knowledge, devouring the bi-polar dichotomy of &quot;angelic vs. demonic&quot;.

<title>Eyebrook / Ross Baker [foot215]</title>
<link>http://www.bumpfoot.net/foot215.html</link>
<description>
After a trilogy of acoustic-based records, Ross Baker returns to a more electronic approach for Eyebrook.
Named after the reservoir in Leicestershire, England, the album paints of a picture of the waterside and its wildlife.
This rural sound is sculpted from a tapestry of 80s sounding synths, melotrons, acid house basslines, acoustic drones, breakbeats, and of course a sprinkling of acoustic guitar and piano.
A wildly varied - and yet thematically consistent - album.

<title>Art Is Made Of Freedom, Vintage Dreams And Honey Tears EP / Alex Chester [bump184]</title>
<link>http://www.bumpfoot.net/bump184.html</link>
<description>
Here comes another EP, suitable for floors. &quot;The tracks have different influences&quot;, Alex says.
&quot;Honey Tears is based on a painting of a contemporary artist Casey Weldon, her work called Honey was the total inspiration, when I saw that beautiful image, I stayed lost looking to it, and the melodies just came to my mind.&quot;
Vintage is a complete electronic musical arrangement, composed as a retro tune but taking advantage of the new technologies, this track has the great attribute of provoke goosebumps effect the listeners in detail.
&quot;Dreams talk about all those longings repressed inside each one of us for so many reasons, many times as adults we usually transform all those dreams we had when we were young in pure melancholy.
Freedom is inspired on hungarian themes, thereof which inspired to Johannes Brahms to compose his majestic 21 Hungarian Dances.&quot;

Allel started making music in 2005, released EPs and participated in compilations from Hand Craft records (http://handcraftrecords.net/) and Hoshikuzu Container (http://hoshikuzu.info/).
The debut EP contains trance-oriented emotional tunes (although he says &quot;useless&quot;). Cover artwork by Kowashi.

<title>Sweet Old Trash / SpaceWine [foot214]</title>
<link>http://www.bumpfoot.net/foot214.html</link>
<description>
After a year and a half of silence, SpaceWine is making a comeback with the third album.
&quot;These tracks are from old files I made years ago. I abandoned them and forgot them, and their sweet melodies fermented like wine until I un-earthed them like an electronic Indiana Jones.
You can consider them B-sides for my first release here on Bump Foot. There's Drum 'n' Bass, Breaks, and fun funky compositions which bleed into IDM. The Melodies are Sweet and the Trash is Loud.&quot;

<link>http://www.bumpfoot.net/bump182.html</link>
<description>
When Old Ideas Alpha (http://www.bumpfoot.net/bump181.html) was released, I (and some of you, maybe) expected that &quot;Beta&quot; would be there... and here it comes.
This is one of the best sounds Krzho ever made - they are more dancable tunes.

<title>Severem Retrixia / Alterphase [foot213]</title>
<link>http://www.bumpfoot.net/foot213.html</link>
<description>
Alterphase's debut release have tracks close to IDM, glitch, ambient but with a fairly detailed composition.
&quot;Looking for moments of escape, we can listen some tracks searching melodies and particular structures&quot;.
Variety in the compositions to avoid falling into the monotony, a haunting album that requires multiple listens.

Seems like it's been a while to introduce a rock band. Aguas Tónicas (in English : Tonic Water) from Argentina.
&quot;Los Desposeídos&quot; is their fourth album, a conceptual utopia that lives up to its name (the homonymous book by Ursula K. Le Guin).

<title>Red Music / Gridline [foot211]</title>
<link>http://www.bumpfoot.net/foot211.html</link>
<description>
On his sixth EP, Gridline avoided using so many different styles as previous releases. &quot;This collection is made of tracks which sound like a mixture of my earlier ambient tracks and those with beats&quot;.
The tracks are based upon emotional melodies. &quot;But I'd say that some of them, especially Four Suns and Broken Robots, sound like they were made by a machine&quot;.

<link>http://www.bumpfoot.net/bump181.html</link>
<description>
&quot;I have a lot of unfinished projects on my computer which are up to 4 years old&quot;, he said.
&quot;They could be just some synth lines and never finished or just some loop. They all have one thing in common - they were never finished.&quot;
Krzho decided to do some cleaning on the disk and finish those ideas with a little modern touch.

It's a mixture of acoustic and electronic music, featuring vocoded vocals. Highly interesting EP by a band from Portugal.
The songs were recorded between 2011 and 2012 at &quot;The Mansion&quot;, Golden Pony Studio and Ricco Vitalli's (Cavaliers of Fun) studio – who also mastered and mixed the EP.
Written, performed and programmed by the band.

<title>EP 1 - 3 / Pedro Helvete [bump178]</title>
<link>http://www.bumpfoot.net/bump178.html</link>
<description>
The first two tracks (Insane Aerobics and Talán) were born from some eclectic electric style, influeced by dubstep and triphop.
The next two (Slowed Reflexes and Chestnut Trees) go along the ambient and chill out line.
The final three (Ilona Staller, The Space Queen and Barbarella) retrospect the '70s italian space techno era.
The 3 EPs are mixed from various styles but make a whole piece together. These tracks were mixed between April and June of 2012.
In three tracks, female vocal themes were created and featured by MoSu. Cover by Kitti Godó.

Masks And Wires is an album restored from several years ago that features genres such as dub, experimental and electronica.
&quot;The tracks are very hook-ey and infectious - check for yourself&quot;. This album basically represents the height of Thomas Park's sample-based composition methods.

<title>Tintinnabulation EP / Serotonin Eyes [foot207]</title>
<link>http://www.bumpfoot.net/foot207.html</link>
<description>
&quot;When I started writing for this project I knew I wanted to do something in the break/glitch-core genre&quot;, he said.
&quot;I've been a musician all my life (predominately a jazz bass player) and have loved all types of electronic music for quite a while, but noticed that a lot of the music that falls under this category lacked strong melodies but instead were based more on the drums and bass end of ensemble spectrum with melodies being left simple and undeveloped or not present at all (that's not to say that many electronic artists don't put a lot of focus on melody just that I noticed a large majority did not).&quot;
This four tracks EP consists of glitch, IDM and ambient tracks with impressive melodies. &quot;I wanted to write music where the melodies were the strongest part and main focal point of the tracks while still incorporating the fast paced tempos and sporadic drums and bass that represented the genre. And that's how the music came about.&quot;

<title>Flora &amp; Fauna EP / Mr. Dee [bump176]</title>
<link>http://www.bumpfoot.net/bump176.html</link>
<description>
The second EP by Mr. Dee has deep or hypnotic atmosphere.
&quot;I leave a noisy and dirty city at every weekend and go to the forest. When I cross border of this Green Kingdom I feel a pleasant smell of freshness and freedom.
I walk on narrow wood paths and enjoy the nature. I can see that the squirrel rushes and rescues her nut from invisible enemies. I can feel that the early bird sing on mountain ash's branch.
This place is so simple and beautiful that I would not want to come back in a city.&quot;
