Description
Loneload is a heartland rock / grunge / metal / electronic / folk / powerpop project carried on by the italian female guitarist, songwriter, studio and web artist called Laura Liparulo. Laura Liparulo has been playing the guitar since she was twelve and spent her early adolescence taking guitar lessons and leading classic, power and thrash metal school bands as a singer, rhythm and lead guitarist. Widening her knowledge of genres through the years spent at University so far, by grow performing into hard rock and grunge hometown cover bands, as a result of a very social and musical adolescence, unluckily made of very mentally sick experiences and great love and sexual troubles, Laura lost herself into a slow and lonely songwriting growing through the years.
Leaving her sweet hometown's 70s and 80s rock n' roll quiet life on her back, for a semester in Germany as Erasmus student in 2007, where the first lyrics came out, brought her to make her first acoustic demos, released on Myspace on Autumn 2008 (recorded with a semiacoustic guitar, harmonicas and a mp3 player). A wiser lonely stay in the city of Rome, working in software engineering firms as a java and web programmer, gave Laura the opportunity to arrange the first ten songs of her by software editing since April 2009. She ended up recording all alone at Snakes Studios in Rome in September 2010.
"Love would never work" is Loneload's first studio album. Finally released on October the 15th 2010 under Creative Commons license Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike. Just how it has been conceived. An artistic decision: making early music, delivering good songs of any genre that sounds close to the mood, free of any commercial purpose.
