Description
Revy was born in 1982 and grew up in rural Idaho, USA. At an early age he experimented with recording, sound synthesis, and eventually MIDI composing and tracking. In 2000 he began mixing records and became one of few DJs in the inland northwest underground scene pushing deep, thoughtful, experimental house and techno. He is known for his intricate mixes and marathon sets at outdoor events. In 2006 he released two EPs on netlabel Betamod based in St. Louis. His sounds are mainly influenced by nature, architecture, and 8-bit video games. In September 2006 he moved to Tokyo, Japan and continues to expand his life experiences and reflect that in his productions and DJ sets.
